It would be awesome to be able to go around that place.
Very spooky, interesting....hell, you could throw in a thousand adjectives here......
A few weeks ago I saw a show on 3 Mile Island....
and while Chernobyl was much worse, it really makes ya wonder "What if".

When I first saw that page linked, I thought it was going to be about some dude posting his stories about doing 180 down a deserted street and how cool that was. I was very surprised and intrigued with the site as it actually was.

Well, background radiation is 'fairly' okay there at the moment.
The only thing is.. it's wierdness.. going into towns, just plucked up out of 80's russia and completely emptied.. no people, but lots of stuff, sort of like those movies where you wake up.. and everyone else is gone.
i guess it borders to the fear that everyone has to be 'deserted' or to be alone, and is attractive as an experience, for that reason.
